Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115, ENGL 103W, ENGL 103, or ENGL 104, or satisfactory test scores placing into ENGL 103W or higher. Concurrent enrollment in ENGL 115 allowed. This course shall explore the historical development, power/jurisdictions and current issues pertaining to law enforcement in the United States. Further, this course will analyze the effectiveness of traditional and non-traditional techniques of law enforcements control of crime in urban and rural settings from a state and federal level. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
