Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in SOWK 100 and SOWK 120. This course is devoted to theories, methods and values of social work practice. The main focus of this course is on the direct service roles and generalist roles for entry level into the practice. Various theoretical models will be covered in this course. The primary focus will be on individuals and families. A variety of interventions will be addressed that deal with the psychosocial issues faced by the client. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
