Course Description
Prerequisite: None. An introductory course covering significant aspects of music history and music repertoire of the Western European tradition. Music of non-Western traditions is also outlined. Fundamental knowledge through guided listening and descriptive analysis is stressed. No musical background is necessary to take this course. Degree Distribution credit can be given for only one of the following: MUSI 110, MUSI 203, MUSI 204. [Semesters Offered: Variable]
