Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in MATH 098 or satisfactory test score. Mathematical Literacy is a one semester course for non-math and non- science majors integrating numeracy, proportional reasoning, algebraic reasoning, and functions. Students will develop conceptual and procedural tools that support the use of key mathematical concepts in a variety of contexts. Recommended for the Arts/Humanities, Business, Communications, Criminal Justice, and Social Science Pathways. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer]
