Honors Program Expectations
Honors Program Expectations
Honors students must be full-time, degree-seeking students and meet the following requirements:
- Attend Honors Orientation (incoming freshmen only)
- Take at least 12 credits of Honors classes and receive at least a 3.0 GPA in those classes
- Maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA
- Attend weekly Honors Hour sessions
- Complete an Honors Final Project
Additionally, honors students are expected to be actively engaged beyond the classroom. Examples of such engagement include:
- Participating in service learning and volunteer work
- Being active in on-campus organizations such as STEM or Business Club
- Participating in on-campus research expositions
- Attending regional Honors conferences
