Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ISYS 110. This course will introduce students to the elements involved in the preparation of the contractor's bid proposal. Quantity takeoff, crew sizes, daily outputs, unit costs and organization of the bid packages into general contracted and subcontracted work. The development of unit prices for estimating labor, material and equipment unit price development, productivity adjustment factors, overhead and profit, cash flow and interest calculations, conceptual estimating methods, and cost variance analysis.
