Course Description

Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in AUTO 103. Design, theory, diagnostics, testing, and proper repair of the following systems are covered: manual transmission/transaxle assemblies and similar drivetrain components. Students will disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble the following: manual transmissions, manual transaxles, CV joints, half shafts, transfer cases, axle assemblies, drive-shafts, and clutches. Emphasis will be given to clutch performance concerns. [Semesters Offered: Spring]
