Course Description
Prerequisite: None. Students in this class will participate in HEED 120 but will not receive credit and the class will not transfer. Designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skill necessary to perform uncomplicated tasks in the personal care of sick and/or disabled patients and in the maintenance of a safe and healthful environment for those patients. At the conclusion of the course, the student is eligible to complete the nurse's aide certification exam as prepared by OBRA. Students must successfully pass a Michigan state background check proving no history of any felony and most misdemeanors prior to course registration.
